Adria Hagg is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 13 years of experience providing mental health therapy to adults across diverse backgrounds and treatment settings. She is licensed in Michigan, Colorado, South Dakota, Florida and New Mexico, and offers online therapy through Shiloh Hill Counseling.

Adria earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of San Francisco and completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) at the University of Denver, with a clinical concentration. She completed her clinical practicum at the University of Colorado Hospital (UCH) Psychiatry Clinic, where she conducted comprehensive diagnostic assessments, presented cases to interdisciplinary teams and provided individual and group therapy. She also participated in grand rounds and training seminars alongside psychiatry residents to deepen her clinical expertise.

Adria specializes in therapy for adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, burnout, ADHD and life transitions. She draws from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based therapy and strengths-based approaches. She completed intensive training in CBT at the Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Her work often integrates mindfulness to help clients build awareness of the mind-body connection.

Before entering private practice, Adria served as a clinical therapist for The Eight Northern Indian Pueblos Council, offering culturally sensitive care to Native American individuals and families. She also facilitated therapy groups at New Moon Lodge, an inpatient substance use treatment center for Native American men. These experiences enriched her appreciation for cultural diversity and shaped her ability to tailor therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each client.

Adria has also provided therapy and case management services at Lutheran Social Services, Catholic Charities’ Kinship Program, and in group private practice settings. She has led support groups for adults, teens, and children from a wide range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.

In addition to her clinical work, Adria has a background in writing and was previously published as a food and travel writer for several San Francisco publications. In her personal time, she enjoys reading, writing, traveling and spending time in Cabo San Lucas.
